I have written for many publications, including The Walrus, HuffPost, Report on Business, Broadview, This, Canadian Living and Today's Parent. My first book, Highrise (Firefly 2019), was nominated for a Forest of Reading Award.
While my interests are broad, my passion is to write about human rights issues both at home and overseas. I have travelled the globe to cover stories in Niger, Uganda, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico. I've also been fortunate enough to win some awards along the way.

ABOUT ME
I’m a storyteller with an insatiable curiosity about culture and people. In the past 25 years, I’ve applied my editing and writing skills to print, digital, social and broadcast for media outlets (including CBC, HuffPost, Today's Parent, Broadview and Outdoor Canada) and non-profit organizations (including WWF and World Vision).
